I’m John Capoccia, founder and president of TexMaster Tools. 

My father, Roger Capoccia, started in the plastering trade in 1949; and in 1975, I joined him to learn the application of plastering and drywall. As part of my apprenticeship, I was taught the art of texturing. I realized that most of the texturing tools being used were handmade or were existing tools modified to enhance their texturing performance. This method created a problem in the repair industry, especially for the homeowner who had to match someone else’s custom texture created years ago with custom tools. Trying to match custom textures was difficult and time-consuming for everyone, pros included. Knowing this, I decided to start TexMasterTools, and for 34 years, we've offered a unique and easy-to-use product line. TexMaster Tools are the best in the business, providing simple solutions to a variety of problems. With Magic Trowel, you can skimcoat walls and finish drywall with the ease of painting. Simply roll on drywall compound and wipe smooth. Magic Trowel also works great for knocking down textures. Our texturing brushes are ready to use with step-by-step instructions. Easy-to-use texture and faux finishing rollers are designed to simplify the toughest task. For example, faux finishing corners is no longer a problem with the Faux Master corner roller. Based on my experience in the industry, I personally designed these convenient, ready-to-use tools with the professional in mind.
